Inventory Tool Built from Scratch
Medical supplies don't manage themselves. We built a purpose-made inventory tool for Ambulante Anästhesie Krems from scratch, with a full audit trail.

An outpatient anesthesia practice has very specific requirements for managing its medical supplies. Items are stored across multiple locations. Consumption needs to be tracked. And in a clinical setting, knowing exactly what happened to a supply item, and when, isn't a nice-to-have. It's a requirement.
Ambulante Anästhesie Krems needed a tool that fit their actual workflow. Off-the-shelf software didn't. So we built one.
What we built
At its core are two interconnected concepts: storage locations and supply items. Staff can list, search, add, edit, and delete both. From a storage location's detail view, they see exactly which items are held there and in what quantity. From a supply item's detail view, they see across which locations it's distributed.
The key actions are consume and restock, recording that a supply was used or replenished. For certain items, numeric fill levels allow more granular tracking than a simple in/out.
Every action (consume, refill, restock, delete, export) is captured in a full audit log. Nothing disappears without a trace. The log is there precisely for the moments when you need to know exactly what happened.
The system also includes user management with role-based access and a personal notes page where staff can record anything that doesn't fit elsewhere.

How we built it
The existing system served as a reference point, not as a migration source but as a basis to build against. The new tool was developed from scratch and replaced the old system completely at go-live. Everything was reviewed in a staging environment first so the client could sign off before launch.
Ambulante Anästhesie Krems now has a tool that matches how they actually work: purpose-built, straightforward to use, and traceable by design. Accountability is built in, not added on after the fact.
